About us
My journey started when I developed an interest in working with dogs after rescuing my dog, Soul, from the RSPCA. From there, I trained to become a dog groomer in 2012, establishing Trendy Barkers Dog Grooming in January 2013.
Throughout the years of owning dogs, my passion for working with dogs has continued and strengthened, with a particular interest in more natural, holistic, and complementary therapies in the way we look after and treat our dogs. This inspired me to sign up to train to become a Canine Myotherapist (canine massage therapist) via Galen Myotherapy.
I became a qualified Canine Myotherapist in 2022, and I am now able to offer myotherapy treatments alongside my dog grooming service.
Trendy Barkers Dog Grooming was re-established in autumn 2021 under the new name of Paws Restored to enable me to continue providing dog grooming alongside future canine therapies.
Currently, I own 3 dogs, with 2 of those regularly training and competing in flyball and canicross. Most of my life revolves around dogs, both professionally and personally, which I absolutely love!
I am so excited to be able to continue my never ending learning journey to help you support and provide the best care for your dogs in a more natural, holistic, and complementary way.
